- Japan Monbusho scholarship, 1 year of intensive Japanese language learning :
- Started learning Japanese Traditional Calligraphy under the guidance of Prof. Hideaki Nagano :
Awarded the Monbukagakusho Research Scholarship to Japan in order to learn traditional Asian calligraphy.
This occurred under the guidance of Nagano Sensei in the Tokyo Gakugei Daigaku university.
After one year of intensive Japanese language learning, started to learn Kanji and kana in both 楷書、行書、草書、隷書、and 経書, classical form of writings.
Entering the Master course in the Japanese calligraphy pedagogy department can be regard as a practical objective.
But writing with another language and reaching essence of kanji is the real purpose.
- Writing sculpture (chalk logogram) with Butoh dancer Kinya "ZULU" Tsuruyama and Swedish Noise Music artist Dror Feiler in the KYOZON/CO:EXIST Gallery Harajuku/Tokyo :
This installation was a part of the "Swedish Style in Tokyo" event (1 month long).
Chalk logogram fullfilling all the ground surface of the gallery, as Tsuruyama was dancing and Dror was playing minimal music with two clarinets.
It occurred in the KYOZON/CO:EXIST Gallery in Harajuku/Tokyo.
